Cookies.
Cookies are small files this site may store in your browser. This page sets out which ones we use, why, and how to turn them off if you would rather not have them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Some are needed for a site to work or stay secure. Others are used to remember you or to track what you do across sites. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this page too.
The cookies this site uses
We do not set any advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers.
Our own pages do not store cookies or other data on your device. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a small security cookie so it can tell real visitors from automated attacks. If it does, that cookie is strictly necessary for the security of the site and expires quickly.
We measure how many people visit using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is built not to use cookies or any other storage on your device, and does not follow you between sites or identify you personally.
Why we use them
Security cookies keep the site available and protect it from abuse. Without them we could not guarantee the site works safely. Because they are strictly necessary, the law does not require us to ask for your consent to them, which is why you will not see a cookie banner here. The visitor statistics use no cookies, so they need no consent either.
How to control them
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings menu. Blocking the security cookie will not stop you using the site, though on rare occasions you may be asked to prove you are a person. To clear cookies already stored, use your browser’s “clear browsing data” option.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything that needs your consent, such as a service that sets its own cookies, we will ask first and update this page before it starts. This page was last updated on 30 September 2026.
